Darius Rucker is the latest artist to be asked to join the Grand Ole Opry. While on stage at the Opry this week, Rucker was taking questions from the audience when he was surprised to have a question come from Brad Paisley. Paisley actually asked two questions saying, “First question is: Are you still the worst poker player in the world? Other question is, would you like to be the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry?” Clearly surprised, Rucker responded, “Oh, you’re kidding me. Tonight? Really?” Paisley quickly replied, “You haven’t answered,” to which Rucker came back with a humble, “Yes, I would. Wow, really? Wow.” Darius will officially become a member of the Opry at his induction ceremony on October 16th.

Luke Bryan has put his previous love saga to rest. In his new video for “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” Luke is no longer playing a lovestruck singer, and his love interest is nowhere to be found. This time around, Luke sticks to just singing while the two main characters decide whether they should stay together or not. The female lead is contemplating a one way ticket, while the male lead begs for another shot at love.
And Garth Brooks will officially be ending his residency at the Wynn in Vegas. After three years of shows, he will perform his last on November 17th. Brooks said he thoroughly enjoyed his time performing in Vegas, but the time has come to close out the shows. He hasn’t ruled out touring though. In 2014 his youngest daughter will graduate high school and he says he would love to tour again with wife Trisha Yearwood. Let’s hope so.
