Jake Owen is finally ready to hit the road as a headliner. Owen announced his “Days of Gold” tour which will hit 55 cities throughout 2014. His opening acts will vary throughout the eight month long tour. Eli Young Band, Thomas Rhett, Parmalee and Cadillac Three will all be on the tour at some point or another. Owen says, “I love throwing parties! This tour is going to be one big party and everyone is invited.” He’ll hold fans over until the shows start in March with the second single from his “Days of Gold” album, Beachin’, to be released in early February.
Along with joining Jake Owen’s tour, Eli Young Band is also releasing a new album two weeks prior to hitting the road. “10,000 Towns” will be released March 4th and includes the band’s number one hit, “Drunk Last Night.” The record boats 11 tracks, unless you buy the Walmart exclusive version with three bonus tracks. Lead singer Mike Eli says, “To still be making music and going through the craziness of life together is something we’d only dreamed of when we met back in college. This album shows another chapter in our lives as a band, as husbands, as fathers and as individuals that we’re really excited to share with our amazing fans.”
