Surely you’ve heard Luke Bryan’s newest single, “That’s My Kind of Night.” It’s one of those songs you either love or hate, and if you measure popularity on charts, most people are loving this song. But, it’s getting a lot of flak too. According to Zac Brown it’s, “one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard.” He does say he’s a fan of Luke’s but hates this song and everything it stands for. While Luke isn’t a co-writer on the tune and hasn’t replied to Brown’s comments, his buddy Jason Aldean did. Aldean posted a screenshot of the song playing on his phone on Instagram including the caption, “I hear some other artist are bashing my boy @lukebryan new song, sayin its the worst song they have ever heard........ To those people runnin their mouths, trust me when i tell u that nobody gives a *bleep* what u think. Its a big ol hit so apparently the fans love it which is what matters. Keep doin ur thing LB!!!” Welp. Good luck to everyone in charge of making seating arrangements at the CMAs.
And speaking of award shows, Trace Adkins will return to host the American Country Awards, but Kristen Chenoweth will not. Danica Patrick will step in as co-host this year. Patrick has never hosted, although she has made several appearances in country music videos. The ACAs will air live from Las Vegas December 10th on FOX.
