Charles and I…better known as ‘The Dynasty’…will challenge anyone who wants to try and take us at the table!” Just 31 slots are availableand the entry fee is $300 and includes all the day’s activities. All money goes to support LadyAID’s mission to bring awareness to and generate support for the plight of children locally, nationally, and globally who cannot otherwise help themselves.
- Uh-oh! Is trouble brewing for two of country music’s biggest names? Before the GRAMMY’s it was rumored Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood had requested to keep as far from each other as possible because they “hate each other.” The feud supposedly started back in November when Carrie and Brad Paisley hosted the CMA’s and cracked a joke about Taylor and her then recent break up with Connor Kennedy. The camera never showed Swift. In a later interview, Swift said, “They don’t pan to you if you’re not laughing.” Ouch. But on the red carpet Underwood cleared the air when a questioner asked if there was trouble to which Carrie replied, "No! Not that I know of. Every magazine, newspaper or gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying a 'source says' or 'a friend said' or 'an insider said.' I've read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that."
- But, all is not feud-free in country music land. Natalie Maines of Dixie Chicks fame, says she’s not feeling the love with country music.. At a recent event Katie Cook askedMaines if she would ever return to country music and Maines replied, “You know what? It’s kind of like going back to your abusive husband. I’m just not feeling it. I’m sorry.” Maybe no country music is in store for Maines, but she is releasing her first solo rock album in May.
