New Music from Kenny Chesney and Lonestar

Feb 08, 2013 -- 9:00am
  • Have you heard Kenny Chesney’s latest single, “Pirate Flag?”  The lyrics are typical Chesney, but the delivery is different.  The song kicks off in spoken-word-rap kind of way, and then kicks into full blown Chesney with depictions of the blowing off work, the ocean and island girls.  And the new video is full of all of those.  But the island girls in the video aren’t just girls called up from casting, their actual friends of Chesney’s from the islands he’s always running off to.  Check it out below...

  • And Miranda Lambert should be looking to release a new album soon, probably in 2013 and she has some ideas of who she would like to collaborate with.  And that includes some of country’s other leading ladies.  Lambert revealed, “I would like to work with [Taylor] and with Carrie Underwood too. There is room for us three [in country music]. We are all three different [types] of country — well Taylor’s kind of all over everywhere — but I think it would be cool for the three of us to collaborate.”
  • And Lonestar is officially back.  After celebrating their 20th anniversary last year, the mega group has released a new single entitled “Maybe Someday.”  The new tune is about the thought of maybe someday getting over that someone that isn’t in your life anymore.  If you’ve missed the harmonies Lonestar brought to the table in the past, you’ll appreciate this new one.  Check out the lyric video for “Maybe Someday” below...
